About
Sonomac originally started writing music for video games back in the early 90’s for Zepplin Games who produced games for the Sinclair Spectrum, Commodore 64 and Commodore Amiga.
After spending a number of years in the software industry, Sonomac got involved in the local underground techno scene in Newcastle, UK which was a boiling pot of up and coming techno and electronic music artists.
One thing led to another and he got his first break with Tunnel Club, a local techno duo who had released a number of albums commercially and after hearing a remix of one of their tracks it was released on their Exit Space: Re-entry EP, and in addition to featuring Sonomac on their remix EP they asked Sonomac to play at their upcoming Northern Exposure festival.
Sonomac has released a number of tracks which are available on Soundcloud which have had widespread appeal after being played out around the UK at numerous nightclubs as well as overseas in the US and during Yachtweek in Croatia.

We draw on the demonic sounds of Lurch, Sonomac and om10 for another venture into the dark side of electronic music at our favourite public house the Tanners Arms. Pumpkins and Kick drums aplenty, with 𝕒𝕜𝕠 supplying suitably horrific visuals and the ghostly Bad Luck Ginger – Buhl providing the soundtrack for an evening of grave rave.

Northern Electric Festival is back for its fifth year!
Big Lad will be headlining Cobalt Studios CIC on Friday 31st July, and Colossal Squid (Adam Betts Drums) will be headlining Saturday August 1st
